FCCLA Members Compete At National FCCLA Conference
Launch the media gallery 1 playerNine members of the Howells-Dodge FCCLA Chapter attended the 2024 FCCLA National Leadership Conference in Seattle, Washington June 29 - July 3. They joined over 8,000 members and advisers from all over the U.S. at the conference. The theme for this year’s event was “The Ultimate Journey.”
Eva Martin, Annemarie Slaughter, Autumn Slaughter, Noah Coufal, Isabel Belina, Landon Dobbins, and Gage Stutzman competed in Parliamentary Procedure Level 3. They earned silver medals in their event. Kylee Compton and Hannah Hinrichsen were silver medal winners in Chapter in Review Level 3.
While at the conference, members attended sessions and participated in conference events. They also visited the Space Needle, Chihuly Glass and Garden, and the Seattle Market. Members had the opportunity to go to the ocean, take a ferry ride to Bainbridge Island and watch the Seattle Mariners vs. Baltimore Orioles Baseball Game at T-Mobile Park.
The members would like to thank all those who supported them on their journey to Seattle. Accompanying the FCCLA members on their trip was FCCLA Adviser Marla Prusa.
