FFA land judging
On October 7th, the Howells-Dodge FFA Chapter attended District Land Judging in Scribner, Nebraska. Six students competed in this event that involved roughly 14 schools that participated. Out of the 14 schools that competed, the Howells-Dodge FFA Chapter placed 11th overall. A day with FCCLA
On Monday, October 12th, the Howells-Dodge FCCLA chapter attended the District Leadership Conference at CCC in Columbus. The day was kicked off with a keynote speaker from US92 and donuts. Jaguar Quiz Bowl competes in history competition
Eight HDC students traveled to Seward to compete in a History Quiz Bowl on October 7th. The competition focused on the history of the United States and featured questions focused on the past 250 years of our country. The students were divided into two teams and did a nice job of answering a variety of questions. HDC hosts volleyball triangular
The Lady Jags hosted a triangular on October 8th in Howells. To start off the night, the Jags played Laurel-Concord-Coleridge but fell short. LCC won in two sets. The score of the first set was 25-15, and the second was 25-20. Kylie Brichacek and Audrey Brabec led the team in kills with 5. Lady Jags fall to the Mustangs in four
The Lady Jags hosted the Stanton Mustangs in Dodge on Tuesday, October 6th. They lost a close match in four sets. The first set was a tight battle until the end, but the Jags came up short, losing 23-25. In the second set, the Jaguars asserted their dominance, defeating the Mustangs 25-15.
