Jaguars conquer the Cougars
On September 25th, the Jaguars sent the Lyons-Decatur Cougars home with a loss. With a 36-6 win, the Jaguars continued moving along through the football season. In the first quarter, the Jaguars started off with a lead of 14 points. Continuing the win, they gained another 6 points; by the third quarter, the Lyons-Decatur Cougars had gained 6 points. The Cougars were slowly taken over as the Jags managed to secure another 16 points. . . .

The Cyclones had a great night against the Ponca Indians, scoring 8 runs in just 5 innings. Lexie Bruhn had 1 run as a courtesy runner for Allie Dirkschneider. Mattie Rayback scored 2 runs. Cyclones vs. the Tigers
On Monday, September 21, the Cyclones took on North Bend Central. Senior Reann Bruhn started the game off with a triple; senior Allie Dirkschneider batted her home. Lady Jags compete in their first triangular
The Jaguar volleyball team traveled to Pender to compete in a triangular against the Norfolk Catholic Knights and the Pender Pendragons. In the first match of the night, the Jags took on the Knights and lost in two sets with scores of 14-25 and 20-25. Statistically, for the Jaguars, senior Kylie Brichacek led the team in kills with 6, followed by seniors Bella Koliha and Audrey Brabec with 5 each, and sophomore Reagan Bayer with 4. . . .
Lady Jags fall to the Bluejays in 4
On September 22, the Lady Jags took on the GACC Bluejays in West Point. The Jags got off to a strong start and won the first set 25-23. They were right there in the second and third sets with a score of 21-25 for both. The fourth set just wasn’t enough, making the final score 19-25. Leading in kills was Kylie Brichacek with 11. The Highway 91 Cyclones played 3 games in Arlington on Saturday, September 19th. The Cyclones won their first game against Arlington 3-1. During this game, Shaylynn Marty had 4 hits, 1 run batted in, and 2 doubles. Dani Dirkschneider had 1 hit and drove in 1 run.
