H-D girls blowout Mead Raiders

On Saturday, January 18 the Lady Jags played the Mead Raiders at Mead. The Lady Jags came out with the win scoring 64 points while the Raiders scored 15. Head Coach Scott Polacek said, “H-D got out to a 9-0 lead and never looked back against Mead on Saturday. H-D shot 24-47 on the night and grabbed 16 steals”. 

Scoring by quarters:

Howells-Dodge: 22/21/14/7 for a total of 64

Mead: 2/4/6/3 for a total of 15

The leading scorers for the Jags were Jordyn Ratzlaff with 16, Ava Noyd with 12, Kylie Brichacek with 10, Audrey Brabec with 6, Jade Bayer with 5, Peyten Becker with 4, McKenzie Sindelar and Kenadie Throener with 3, Bella Koliha and Maura Cada with 2, and Isabella Wegner with 1. Leading the team in rebounds was Noyd with 5, Sindelar, Koliha, and Brichacek with 4, Brabec, Ratzlaff, and Becker with 3, Bayer with 2, and Cada, Wegner, and Throener added 1. Bayer led the team in steals with 4 followed by Ratzlaff with 3, Throener and Steffensmeier with 2, and Noyd, Becker, Sinderlar, Koliha, and Brichacek with 1. Becker led the team with two blocks and Brichacek also added 1.
