Jaguar Quiz Bowl Teams Compete at State Fair

Jaguar students were able to attend a quiz bowl at the Nebraska State Fair during the first week of September. On Tuesday, September 1st, six junior high students participated in a contest involving eleven teams. The members were able to answer questions from a variety of discipline areas and were able to score points based on their correct answers. The teams had several close matches throughout the competition.

On Wednesday, September 2nd, the high school teams competed in a slightly different version of the contest as they were placed into pools to compete in a round-robin style tournament. The teams faced schools from a variety of larger schools. They were able to answer questions in a wide range of topics and also offered strong competition to the tournament.
