Lady Jags host tournament in Howells
The Lady Jags hosted a tournament in Howells on Saturday, September 14th. The three other teams competing in the tournament were Bancroft-Rosalie, Elgin-Public Pope John, and Elkhorn Valley.
The Jags faced the Bancroft-Rosalie Panthers in their first match of the day. They prevailed, winning the first set 25-18 and the second 25-23. This game was special for the Jags, as senior, Jade Bayer reached 1000 career digs.
Statistically, Ava Noyd and Audrey Brabec led the team in kills versus the Panthers with 5, followed by Taylor Steffensmeier with 4, and both Kylie Brichacek and Peyten Becker added 3.
