Launch the media gallery 1 playerOn November 4th, ten HDC junior high students attended a general knowledge quiz bowl contest held in Seward. The students were divided into two teams; the 7th grade team consisted of Alaina Hoffman, Bently Sindelar, Boston Bohaboj, Karter Brichacek, and Kreightyn Janata. They were able to secure a win in their first match. After that, they were able to acquire quite a few points through several correct answers, but were unable to gain another win. The 8th grade team of Colton Allred, Kinsley Jones, Madelyn Belina, Max Brester, and Zadok Warden were able to win three matches in the morning with a strong number of points earned. Unfortunately, they were unable to secure the win in the second round of the single-elimination bracket. The teams recorded many correct answers during the day.
