Howells Hero
Isabel Belina was recognized by the Howells Community Fund for always having time, energy, and heart into strengthening our hometown. Senior Isabel Belina spends her summer helping with the reading program at the library. She helps check out books and watches the kids, and helps clean up. She created over 65 reusable bags out of recycled hospital drapes for the kids to use during the reading program as an alternative to the one-time plastic bags they had used in the past. She assists with cleaning up the highways every spring and summer throughout different programs. She also helped set up the annual easter egg hunt for the children. Isabel Belina enjoys giving back to our community! Congratulations, Isabel, on this amazing award for impacting the town of Howells!
