Jaguar track travels to Wakefield

On Tuesday, April 21, the Jaguars traveled to Wakefield and participated in various events. On the boys' side of things, Andre Martin won the high jump with a jump of 6 '0. Noah Coufal placed 4th in the triple jump, along with Jimmy Ratzlaff, who also competed. In the long jump, Jax Nelson placed 4th and Jimmy Ratzlaff also jumped. Briggs Ernest placed 5th in shot put and discus, and the other shot put thrower was Brody Johnson. Three people competed in the 110-meter high hurdles for the Jaguars, including Andre Martin, Andrew Brester, and Isaac Meyer, with Andre getting 3rd and Isaac getting 5th. In the 100-meter dash, Jax Nelson, Andrew Brester, and Jimmy Ratzlaff all ran. Noah Coufal and Luke Belina both ran the 3200, and Noah placed 4th, along with Luke placing 6th. For the 200-meter dash, Jarrett Perrin and Jimmy Ratzlaff both competed. In the 400-meter dash and the 800-meter run, Gabe Martin and Cael Jones competed. In the mile, Luke Belina competed. There were three who ran the 300-meter intermediate hurdles for the Jaguars, including Andre Martin, who placed 5th, Isaac Meyer, and Oliver Belina. For the boys relay teams, the 4x800 got 5th, the team being Gabe Martin, Luke Belina, Jarrett Perrin, and Noah Coufal. The 4x100 also got 5th with Andrew Brester, Oliver Belina, Jax Nelson, and Jarrett Perrin. Finally, the 4x400 team got 3rd, which included Andre Martin, Isaac Meyer, Oliver Belina, and Gabe Martin.
Now for the girls' side of things, four people jumped in the long jump: Brynn Throener, who placed 4th, Reagan Bayer, who placed 6th, Isabella Wagner, and Shayla Gall. Five girls did the triple jump: Kylie Brichacek, placing 3rd, Isabella Wagner, placing 6th, Norah Noyd, Avery Bayer, and Shayla Gall. For the discus, Kylie Brichacek placed 2nd, Peyten Becker placed 6th, and Tenley Ernst competed both in the shot put and discus. In the 100-meter dash, Maura Cada placed 3rd, Isabella Wagner placed 4th, Audrey Praest placed 5th, and Jordyn Hamata also ran. Audrey Praest placed 2nd in the 100-meter high hurdles, along with Avery Bayer, and Jordyn Hamata also competing. In the 200-meter dash, Brynn Throener placed 2nd, Maura Cada, Reagan Bayer, and Jordyn Hamata also ran. In the 400-meter dash, three Jaguars ran with Brynn Throener placing 2nd, Norah Noyd, and Shayla Gall also ran in this event. For the 300-meter low hurdles, Avery Bayer placed 5th. Then, for the 800-meter run, both Norah Noyd and Shayla Gall competed. Finally, for the girls' relay teams, the 4x100 placed 2nd with Kylie Brichacek, Isabella Wagner, Maura Cada, and Audrey Praest. The girls' 4x400 team placed 3rd with Brynn Throener, Avery Bayer, Reagan Bayer, and Kylie Brichacek.
