Howells-Dodge vs. Humphrey-Lindsay

The Jaguars carry on the winning streak. On September 11, Howells-Dodge played the 0-2 Humphrey-Lindsay Bulldogs. For the offense of Howells-Dodge, the team had a total of 340 rushing yards. Sophomore Andrew Brester led the team with 148 yards, and behind him was junior Oliver Belina with a total of 71 yards. The Jaguars had a total of 7 touchdowns during the game. Senior Blane Stutzman, Andrew, and Oliver all had 2 touchdowns, while sophomores Levi Cada and Jarrett Perrin both had 1 touchdown. Following the touchdowns, Howells-Dodge had 7 conversions. Oliver led with 4, and Blane, Reid Meyer, and Andrew all had 1. 

In this game, Howells-Dodge had outstanding defense. The Jaguars had a total of 74 tackles, 35 of those coming from solo tackles, and the other 39 were assisted. Senior Cole Bayer and Briggs Ernst both had 1 sack, leading to the team having a total of 2. Finally, for kickoff, the Jaguars had a total of 380 yards. Andrew had 296 of those yards from 7 kicks, and Levi had 84 yards from 2 kicks. Howells-Dodge came out with the win, and the final score was 14-56. The Jaguars have had an amazing season so far, and they will play East Butler on September 18th with kickoff at 7 pm.
