The Jaguars traveled down to Dwight to play the 3-0 East Butler Tigers. For the offense of Howells-Dodge, the team had a total of 225 rushing yards. Junior Oliver Belina led the team with 135 rushing yards. The Jaguars had a total of 4 touchdowns during the game. Oliver had 3 touchdowns, while senior Blane Stutzman had 1.

In this game, the Jaguars had a total of 59 tackles, 33 of those coming from solo tackles, and the other 26 assisted. Seniors Cole Bayer and Briggs Ernst both had 1 sack, leading to the team having a total of 2. Howells-Dodge fell short to East Butler, though, with a score of 26-38. Although it wasn’t the turnout they wanted, the Jaguars are looking forward to their homecoming game on Friday, September 25, against Lyons-Decator!
