Cyclones battle in the Arlington tournament

The Highway 91 Cyclones played 3 games in Arlington on Saturday, September 19th. The Cyclones won their first game against Arlington 3-1. During this game, Shaylynn Marty had 4 hits, 1 run batted in, and 2 doubles. Dani Dirkschneider had 1 hit and drove in 1 run. Allie Dirkschneider had 1 hit, Bailey Rios had 1 hit, and Reann Bruhn stole 2 bases; Lexie Bruhn got 2 outs, and Reese Bruhn got 8 outs. Dani got 1 out, Allie got 5 outs, Bailey got 1 out, Reann had one out, and Rebecca Hastreiter had 3 putouts. Lastly, Reann pitched 76 pitches and struck out 5 batters.

In their second game, the Cyclones lost 8-4 against NEN. During this match, Grace Hansen had 1 runner batted in. Lexie had 1 run and 1 hit. Shaylynn had 1 hit. Reann had 1 run and 1 hit. Dani had 1 hit, and 1 runner batted in. Bailey had 1 run and 2 hits, then Reese got 1 hit, and 2 runners batted in. On defense for this game, Grace got 1 out, Lexie got 2 outs, Reese got 8 outs, Dani got 2 outs, Allie got 2 outs, and Bailey got 1 putout. Lastly, Reann pitched 82 times and struck out 2 batters.

Lastly, the Cyclones went against Tekamah-Herman, losing 11-3. Grace and Lexie got 1 run and 1 hit. Shaylynn had 2 hits, 1 runner batted, and 1 double. Dani had 1 run, and Reann had 3 hits, along with 1double. Rebecca Hastreiter had 1 hit, and 2 runners batted. Grace had 1 stolen base, along with 1 putout. Allie, Bailey, Reann, and Rebecca all got 1 out; Shaylynn got 2 outs, and Reese got 5 outs. Lastly, Reann pitched 79 times, striking out 1 batter.
