Launch the media gallery 1 playerThe Lady Jags picked up three wins on Saturday, August 29th at the Randolph gym. Their first game was against Hartington-Newcastle. The Jags came out winning in two sets. In the first set, the Lady Jags won 25-5, and in the second, 25-16. Kylie Brichacek led the team in kills with 8; Audrey Brabec had 5; Bella Koliha had 4; and Addison Heard, Isabella Wegner, Tenley Ernst, and Peyten Becker all had 2 kills. On defense, Kylie and Bella had 6 digs, Brynn Throener had 5, Addison had 4, Peyten had 3, Riley Svehla and Audrey had 2, and McKenzie Sindelar, Reagan Bayer, and Isabella had 1 dig. Tenley also had 1 solo block.
In the second match, the Lady Jags faced the Winside Wildcats. They won once again in two sets; the ending scores of the first and second sets were 25-13. In this game, Bella and Audrey led the team in kills with 8; Kylie had 2, and Isabella, Tenley, Peyten, and Riley had 1 kill. Peyten had 10 digs, Brynn had 8, Addison had 5, Kylie had 4, Audrey had 3, McKenzie and Tenley both had 2, and Danica Throener, Isabella, Bella, and Riley all had 1 dig. Audrey led the team in blocks with 5, followed by Bella with 4, and Isabella and Tenley with 1. Tenley also had 1 solo block.
The Lady Jags took on the Randolph Cardinals in the last match, winning in two sets again. The first set ended 25-13 and the second set ended 25-19. Bella led the Jags in kills with 6, followed by Isabella with 5; Kylie had 4, Peyten, Audrey, and Riley all had 2, and Tenley had 1. Brynn led the team in digs with 10, Kylie had 9, Addison and Peyten had 3, Audrey and Riley had 2, and lastly Danica had 1. Audrey Brabec and Isabella Wegner both had 1 block.
The Lady Jags ended the weekend with three wins, setting their record to 3-1. The Jaguars will face the Clarkson Coyotes in their next match on Tuesday, September 1st at Clarkson, with JV/C team starting at 5:00 pm.
