HDC hosts volleyball triangular

The Lady Jags hosted a triangular on October 8th in Howells. To start off the night, the Jags played Laurel-Concord-Coleridge but fell short. LCC won in two sets. The score of the first set was 25-15, and the second was 25-20. Kylie Brichacek and Audrey Brabec led the team in kills with 5. Followed by Reagan Bayer and Bella Koliha with 3, Riley Svehla with 2, and Isabella Wegner with 1. Reagan, Isabella, Bella, and Audrey all had 1 block. Brynn Throener led the team in digs with 18; next was Riley with 6, Reagan with 5, Kylie and McKenzie Sindelar with 4, Isabella with 2, and Addison Heard with 1.

Next for the game of the night, the Jaguars faced Humphrey-Lindsay. The Lady Jags won in two sets. The score of the first set was 23-25, and the second set was 21-25. Leading the team in kills was Peyten Becker with 6. Followed by Audrey, Kylie, and Isabella with 5, Bella with 3, and Riley with 2. Isabella had 3 blocks, Peyten had 2, and Bella, Audrey, and Riley had 1. Brynn led the team in digs with 15, followed by Kylie with 13; Riley had 5, McKenzie had 4, Bella and Peyten had 3, and Isabella, Reagan, and Addison all had 2. The Lady Jags look forward to hosting the first round of the EHC tournament on October 15th, with the Jags game starting at 7 pm.
