On Saturday, October 3, the Lady Jags traveled to Clarkson for the Clarkson Coyote Tournament. Throughout the day, they faced Pender, Wynot, and Elmwood-Murdock. At the end of the day, they went 2-1. They played their first match against Pender. The first set was 29-27, and the second set was 25-17. These sets led them to another victory against Pender. Their next game of the day was Wynot. They won both sets, going 26-24 in the first and 25-20 in the second, giving them another win for the day. Leading in kills were Audrey Brabec and Kylie Brichacek, both with 9. Following were Isabella Wegner with 6, and Reagan Bayer with 5. Reagan and Bella Koliha led with 3 blocks each. Right behind was Isabella with 2. Audrey and Riley Svehla both had 1. Their setter, Riley, had 25 assists. In the championship game of the tournament, they played Elmwood Murdock. The first set was 22-25, and the second set was also 22-25, ending in a loss for the Jags. Reagan, Isabella, and Audrey each had 3 kills. Kylie followed with 2. For blocking, Kylie and Isabella both had 2. The Lady Jags fought hard all day to the end, but ultimately fell short. We are still proud of them for their second-place finish! Go Jags!
