HDC dominates Nebraska Christian

On Friday, September 19th, the Howells Dodge Jaguars traveled out to Central City to play Nebraska Christian. The game started at 7:00 pm with the final score being 44-6. In the first quarter, HDC played hard, scoring a whopping 20 points; in the second quarter, they scored 16, and in the third quarter, they scored 8. In the fourth quarter, no team scored. Nebraska Christian ended up scoring one time in the third quarter. Chase Luther threw a total of 71 passing yards with a total of 268 rushing yards. Hunter Luther had a total of 138 rushing yards, and Oliver Belina had 48 rushing yards. Freshman Andrew Brester had 78 total rushing yards. Finally, Levi Cada had 6 rushing yards. Howells Dodge had a total of 34 plays and 60 total tackles. Nebraska Christian had a total of 55 plays and 47 total tackles. HDC stays home this week to play Fullerton at 7:00 pm.
