Jaguar Football defeats Fullerton Warriors
On September 26, the Jaguars hosted the football game against the Warriors. The Jaguars were ready for a good game, the ending score being 44-20. They continue to improve their record, still being undefeated with their 5-0 record so far.
In the first quarter, the Jaguars scored a total of 32 points and didn’t allow the Warriors to score any. For the first touchdown, Hunter Luther had a 57-yard touchdown, and Andrew Brester got a run for the conversion. Hunter Luther then got another touchdown of a 69-yard run, the conversion was a run again from Andrew Brester. Then Dane Meyer got a 1-yard touchdown, conversion was run by Hunter Luther. The final touchdown of the first quarter was a 17-yard run again by Dane Meyer, conversion was a run again from Andrew Brester. Then, in the second quarter, the Jaguars got two touchdown runs. The first was a 16-yard run from Hunter Luther, and the conversion failed. Then, the final touchdown the Jaguars scored was a 57-yard run from Hunter Luther again, with a failed conversion.
Here is a quote from senior Nathan Tomcak on the game, “The game went really well. We came out hot and took an early lead, which allowed the younger guys to get some playing time, which is always good to see.”
