Jags Basketball 11-0 after Saturday's win against GACC
Launch the media gallery 1 playerThe Jaguar basketball boys played GACC on Saturday, January 10th. The start of the game was slow, but the boys found their rhythm after the 1st quarter. Senior Andre Martin was the leading scorer with 19 points, putting in a great performance inside the paint. Followed by junior Chase Luther with 14, senior Nathan Tomcak with 13, senior Ethan Prusa with 9, and senior Dane Meyer with 8. Andre led in offensive rebounds with 3, and Nathan Tomcak led in defensive rebounds with 10. The team had a total of 38 combined rebounds.
In the end, the Jaguars ended the game by putting on a good performance, winning 67 to 57, and remained undefeated after back-to-back games. Head coach Janata also said, “In the second game of the weekend, the boys did a nice job of finding a way to stack stops on defense and work the ball around on offense. Andre Martin did a tremendous job of establishing himself in the inside game, scoring 19, while Chase hit some huge outside shots, scoring 14. Nathan earned a double-double, scoring 13 points with 12 rebounds. Dane also led the team with 6 assists.”
