Boys' basketball aces the test

On Friday, January 9th, the Howells-Dodge Jaguars took on the undefeated Humphrey Archangels. This was a heated back-and-forth battle, but the Jags pulled out the win 57-45. 

Andre Martin led the team, scoring 24 points, and Chase Luther followed that, scoring 17, 15 of those coming from behind the arc. This physical game was determined by the rebounds, where the team had 19 rebounds in all, with multiple teammates racking up five rebounds. 

This was a good test for the Jaguars as they came back from winter break. The Jags later played GACC the following night. Coach's comments from the night were, “It was an extremely physical game where rebounding and defense were the deciding factor. We were led in scoring by Andre Martin and Chase Luther, who both had tremendous games.”
