Cyclones travel to O’Neil

On September 25, the Cyclones took on the O’Neil Eagles. After both teams duked it out between the white lines, the final score ended up being 2-0, going in O’Neil’s favor. O’Neil got up right away with one run in the first and another in the third, and the Cyclones couldn’t answer back. On the hitting side of things, there wasn’t a whole lot of action. O’Neil finished with 5 hits, and Highway 91 with 2. Matelyn Rayback had the team's two hits.

The team had a .217 on-base percentage. Just a struggle for the girls who couldn’t quite reel in the 8 runners they had left on base. The team also had two stolen bases. Fielding went pretty well for the team as they finished with a .996 fielding percentage on the night with only one error.

Overall, the team could almost taste the victory, but just weren't quite able to secure the win.
