Cyclones take down the Raiders!

The HWY 91 Cyclones traveled to Uehling to battle against the Logan View Raiders on Thursday, September 5th, and won 10-3. Jordyn Ratzlaff pitched for the Cyclones the entire game striking out 5, and allowing 6 hits, and 3 runs only two of those runs being earned. 

In the top of the first inning, sophomore Allie Dirkschneider hit a line drive to left field and got a single. In the bottom of the first, the Cyclones held the Raiders to no runs. In the top of the third inning, senior Ady Krupka and Allie Dirkchneider got walked and sophomore Autumn Slaughter hit a hard ground ball to center field and scored three. Ratzlaff doubles on a hard ground ball to left field and scores one. At the end of the third inning, the score was 4-3 Cyclones. At the top of the fifth Dirkschneider singles on a fly ball to right field. Slaughter singles on a line drive to the right field and scores one. Freshman Brittney Faltys singles on a fly ball to right field scoring one. At the end of the fifth inning, the score is 6-3. Top of the sixth inning Dirkschneider singles to a ground ball to right scoring one. Slaughter singles on a line drive to center and scores Dirkschneider. Going into the seventh inning the score was 8-3. Faltys gets an RBI and scores Slaughter. The Cyclones finish out the game with a final score of 10-3. 

The HWY 91 Cyclones will be taking on the GACC Bluejays on Monday, September 9th at 5 p.m. at Timmerman Park in West Point.
