The Jaguars earn runner-up
The Jaguars took on Johnson-Brock in the state championship on Saturday, March 15. They lost 46-61. Coach Janata said, “It was a tough game against the 3-time state champions. Going in, we knew we had to play pretty well while they had to have an off night. We had a good shooting night, especially from the 3-point line going 9 of 18, but we just couldn’t get enough going against their physicality inside and we couldn’t get enough stops on defense.”

HD- 13/11/8/14 Final 46

Coach Janata said this about the season, “It was a tremendous year for the Jags. We do say goodbye to one senior, Carson Heard, who was tremendous for us all year. He worked hard to earn his starting spot this year, and his leadership will be missed. We do have a solid core coming back, and while we look forward to next year, it is sad to see this season come to an end. This was a fun group to coach and I’m very proud of what they accomplished this year.”
