Boys basketball advances to the State Championship

On Friday, March 14, the Jaguars played the Bancroft-Rosalie Panthers in the semi-finals. After their 58-41 win, the Boy's Basketball team moved on to the championship game. 

Howells-Dodge: 14/16/15/13 FINAL: 58

Bancroft-Rosalie: 8/11/12/10 FINAL: 41

The leading scorers for the Jaguars were Andre Martin- 19, Nathan Tomcak- 14, Dane Meyer- 11, Carson Heard- 5, Hunter Luther- 4, Chase Luther- 3, and Noah Coufal- 2. 

Leading the team with rebounds were Andre Martin- 14, Nathan Tomcak- 7, Dane Meyer and Hunter Luther- 5, Carson Heard and Chase Luther- 2, and Isaac Meyer- 1. 

“It was a great night for the boys. We did a great job of moving the ball on offense and hitting the defensive and offensive boards,” said head coach Kevin Janata. “Andre Martin had a huge night, scoring 19 and recording 14 rebounds. We got in a little trouble, turning the ball over vs. their press, but overall we played a great game.”
